My 2 cents

I've been watching American Idol every week but have never blogged about it so I've decided to do just that tonight.

Let me share my thoughts on each contestant that's still in the competition. (Note that these are just my opinions. Don't verbally abuse me if you don't agree!)

Phil Stacey: He's got the best vocals amongst the guys. I don't quite understand why he's been in the bottom 3 each week, almost every week so far. Having said that, I found his performance tonight quite boring. Vocals were good as usual, but...I think it was just his stage presence, or lack thereof. But I won't want to see him leave the show this week.

Jordin Sparks: I quite like her. Good voice.

Sanjaya Malakar: OK, seriously, this one has GOT TO GO. I mean, what the hell is he even doing in the competition? He can't sing (maybe only at a karaoke), he's annoying as hell, I can't stand his hair, I can't stand his grin, I can't stand him. Period.
I was told that there is a group of people trying to keep the worst singer in the competition, and I think that if it is true, then it's just really stupid. Vote him out already!!!

Lakisha: Strong voice, boring personality. Not a fan. Anyway, my favourite Idol of all time is Carrie Underwood. Love her debut album "Some Hearts". So I was not very excited when Lakisha sang "Jesus Take The Wheel" tonight and totally wrecked it. Boo.

Chris Richardson: Never been a fan. His voice is way too nasally for my liking. He should be the next to leave after Sanjaya.

Melinda Doolittle: This girl is the bomb! I think she deserves the Idol title this year, hands down. She's really adorable and very likeable as well.

Blake Lewis: I like!! He hasn't got the best vocals in the group but he's really interesting to watch. He's an entertainer I guess. I'd like to see him go far (but Melinda should still win).
